Hungarian Prime Minister: We will not supply weapons to Ukraine or participate in any military actions that may escalate the conflict.

Jin10 reported on October 23 that Hungarian Prime Minister Orban stated on the local time of the 23rd that Hungary will not join the European “volunteer alliance” supporting Ukraine. He emphasized that if Europe had not obstructed peace efforts, the Russia-Ukraine conflict could have ended long ago. Orban reiterated that Hungary will not provide weapons to Ukraine or participate in any military actions that could escalate the conflict, and called on all parties in Europe to focus on promoting peace negotiations rather than continuing military aid. In addition, Orban stated that Hungary hopes for a strategic partnership between the EU and Ukraine, but Ukraine should not join the EU.
