Jin10 Data, October 21 - According to Reuters, the governments of the United States and Australia announced their support for the aluminum company's gallium critical mineral development project in Western Australia. The aluminum company stated that after completing a feasibility assessment, it expects to establish a joint special purpose entity for the construction of the gallium plant, which is expected to achieve an annual gallium production of 100 tons. The U.S. and Australian governments and companies will provide funding to the special purpose entity and obtain gallium purchase rights in proportion to their equity. The final agreement on the gallium joint venture will be jointly prepared by the U.S. government, the Australian government, the Japanese government, and the aluminum company and Sojitz Corporation.
