Abstract generation in progress

SyrupUSDC — a yield-generating stablecoin issued by Maple Finance — surpassed the supply mark of over 1 billion USD on September 3, increasing from 970 million USD at the beginning of the day, which corresponds to an increase of 18% compared to the previous month and 59% since the beginning of summer.

CEO Sidney Powell noted that this is a clear signal indicating a growing demand for institutional-grade yield in DeFi, and institutional investors are no longer sitting on the sidelines but are actively seeking ways to safely and efficiently bring capital on-chain.

This milestone also marks the expansion of syrupUSDC to the Arbitrum network, in addition to its presence on Ethereum and Solana. On Arbitrum, syrupUSDC is incorporated into the DRIP incentive program, allowing users to earn ARB tokens when using syrupUSDC as collateral — adding an extra layer of benefit beyond the usual yield from Maple.
