PANews July 4 news, according to CoinDesk, the tokenization platform Ondo Finance announced the acquisition of the broker Oasis Pro, regulated by the US SEC. Upon completion of the transaction, it will obtain the qualifications of a US securities broker, alternative trading system (ATS), and transfer agent. This acquisition aims to pave the way for the launch of tokenized stocks, with services expected to be opened to non-US investors through its Global Markets platform in the coming months. Oasis Pro, established in 2019, was an early compliance platform and was one of the first US companies authorized to use fiat and stablecoin for the settlement of digital securities. Ondo plans to operate a digital securities trading system with the ATS license obtained through the acquisition, pending regulatory approval. Oasis Pro CEO Pat LaVecchia will join the Ondo team thereafter.
