Glenkiewicz officially assumes the position of NATO Supreme Allied Commander

Jin10 reported on July 4th, local time on the 4th, NATO appointed U.S. Air Force General Greinckovich as the new Supreme Allied Commander Europe at a change of command ceremony held in Mons, Belgium. He succeeds U.S. Army General Christopher Cavoli. Greinckovich will primarily be responsible for planning and executing military measures to defend NATO. In the event of any conflict in Europe, he will also be responsible for commanding U.S. forces.
