Nick Percoco, the Chief Security Officer of Kraken, warns of serious security risks at cryptocurrency conferences due to careless habits such as using public Wi-Fi, scanning fake QR codes, using strange USB chargers, and leaving devices unlocked. He advises attendees to:

Avoid discussing large transactions in public places
Use a secondary wallet with limited access rights
Use personal Wi-Fi hotspot and separate charger
