The CEO of Anthropic, Dario Amodei, has called on American lawmakers to establish transparency rules for artificial intelligence companies, instead of implementing a ten-year regulatory pause as proposed in President Donald Trump's technology bill.

In an article in The New York Times, Amodei stated that the latest model from Anthropic could reveal personal emails if the planned shutdown is not canceled. He also pointed out that OpenAI and Google are developing models capable of self-protection and supporting cyberattacks. Amodei proposed that Congress and the White House establish a unified requirement for disclosing testing methods and risk mitigation processes. He emphasized that there are currently no federal regulations requiring these disclosures.
