Iranian officials warn: If a compromise cannot be reached on the uranium issue, nuclear negotiations will be in danger.

On May 21, Jin10 reported that Iranian officials urged the United States to agree to a deal regarding Iran’s nuclear program, but warned this week that negotiations could be in jeopardy due to the Trump administration’s insistence that Tehran accept zero uranium enrichment. The Iranian president, at the opening of a meeting in Tehran, called for “brotherhood,” but stated that Iran would not compromise on “bullying.” He told the audience: “We will not give up our right to peacefully use nuclear technology in any way. No matter what they say or do, no matter how they threaten us or impose sanctions, it will be futile.”
