The SEC Crypto Assets Working Group discusses cross-border regulatory sandbox cooperation with El Salvador CNAD.

According to Gate.io News bot, as reported by Wu, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission ( SEC ) cryptocurrency special working group held a meeting with Perkin Law Firm, the National Digital Asset Commission of El Salvador ( CNAD ), and former Goldman Sachs partner Heather Shemilt to discuss cross-border sandbox pilot cooperation for the regulation of digital assets.

CNAD has proposed two regulatory sandbox schemes in collaboration with the SEC: the first scheme involves U.S. brokers applying for digital asset licenses under the CNAD framework and conducting small-scale property tokenization pilots with the help of licensed tokenization companies; the second scheme is aimed at small businesses, allowing them to raise up to $10,000 through tokenization, simulating the issuance process under U.S. crowdfunding rules.
