Jin10 Data, April 3 - Economists from the German Economic Institute stated that if the new tariffs in the U.S. persist throughout Trump's four-year term, Germany could face an economic loss of 200 billion euros (approximately 217 billion dollars). A 20% tariff would be an economic disaster for Germany. Economists also noted that the EU's losses could reach 750 billion euros, and by 2028, Germany's GDP will be about 1.5% lower than it would be without tariffs. The EU must now respond cautiously but take a firm stance. Although Europe will lose in the goods trade war, the EU has a deficit in the services sector, making the U.S. very vulnerable.
