#我的2026第一条帖 WLFI co-founder endorses Li Lihua's viewpoint: stablecoins and Ethereum are crypto core infrastructure, have exchanged WBTC for ETH
Chase Herro, co-founder of WLFI, the Trump family's crypto project, publicly stated that he endorses the analytical views on WLFI from Li Lihua, founder of Liquid Capital (formerly LD Capital). He clearly expressed that stablecoins have proven themselves to become the medium of exchange in the digital age. Based on this judgment, the team has decisively exchanged WBTC for ETH, while lavishing praise on Li Lihua's research and execution capabilities as "unparalleled."
Earlier today, Li Lihua proposed a core viewpoint that 2026 is the "first year of finance on-chain," with stablecoins and Ethereum being the most important infrastructure in this field. WLFI's move to swap BTC for ETH is precisely based on this logical consideration. He further predicted three major development paths for WLFI's future:
First, its associated stablecoin USD1 is expected to break through the 10 billion scale in the near term, attack the trillion scale in the medium term, and occupy a trillion-level share in the 3 trillion stablecoin market in the long term;
Second, USD1 will collaborate with Web2 companies with tens of millions of active users, leveraging payment advantages far exceeding traditional Visa, driving tens of billions of users into the blockchain and stablecoin space;
Third, in the future tens of trillions of finance on-chain market, USD1, relying on advantages in branding, compliance, B2B services, and user base, will become core infrastructure.
Li Lihua stated that this is also the core logic behind Liquid Capital's heavy positions in ETH and WLFI.
