What are the highlights of the dAI team established by the Ethereum Foundation?
Finally! The Ethereum Foundation has established the dAI team. I especially want to ask: What have they been doing all this time?
I have repeatedly emphasized in several articles that AI Agents will become the "salvation" of many Crypto narratives. For Ethereum to consolidate its position as a global public chain decentralized and secure settlement layer, its technological debt has become too heavy, and it needs a new application scenario that can refresh old technologies, which will likely be AI Agents.
So, what highlights does the dAI team plan to achieve?
For example, AI Memory context memory solutions, AI Oracle real-time dynamic price feeding solutions, AI Processor or Multi-Agents autonomous coordination management scheduling platforms, AI Agent autonomous DAO governance solutions, etc.;
Following the tradition of @VitalikButerin being spot on, will this spark a wave of AI component innovation in the Ethereum ecosystem?
Because the core computing power and models are controlled by giants like OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google, before decentralized computing power, algorithms, and federated learning platforms mature and scale, web3AI is completely constrained by an API hook and has no initiative.
Currently, the only reliable factor is "verifiability". In the AI Agent scenario, technologies like ZK-Proof and TEE can be applied on a large scale, which will bring more imaginative space to the ZK track.
As for the ERC-8004 goal mentioned in the announcement, I do not think it is an innovative starting point, but it seems that any technological innovation on Ethereum will begin with establishing standards.
As for the concept of d/acc, it is even more touching, but it's not important. For Ethereum to truly become the "neutral base layer" for AI, it requires not just technical standards, but also the rapid follow-up of killer applications and a developer ecosystem.
