On July 29, 2025, Gate Alpha officially launched a new points system, aimed at enhancing the user experience in participating in activities on the platform, while also providing a quantitative basis for subsequent TGE (Token Generation Event), Airdrop distribution, and other core ecological actions. As a measure of activity within the Alpha ecosystem, Alpha points have become a key ticket for users to obtain platform rights.
Since the launch of the points system, Gate Alpha has consecutively launched multiple rounds of limited-time airdrop activities. This includes the current ES (Eclipse) airdrop, where users who have more than 70 points and complete the claim within the activity period can receive 80 ES tokens, a rare opportunity.
What is Gate Alpha Points?
Gate Alpha Points is an activity assessment mechanism generated by the Gate Alpha ecosystem based on user behavior on the platform. Points are dynamically updated daily, and the system automatically accumulates daily scores from the past 15 days as the user’s current valid points. It will serve as a reference standard for various rights allocation on the Gate Alpha platform in the future, covering:

- Limited-time Token interactive activities

Three Ways to Earn Points
In order to comprehensively reflect user activity within the Alpha ecosystem, Gate Alpha points are divided into three sources:
- Balance Points
Based on the assets held by users on Gate CEX, including listed coins in the spot account and tokens supported by the Alpha zone. Assets that are not listed or not included in the Alpha display are not counted. - Trading Volume Points
Only counts the buying transaction amounts of users in the Alpha selected section. The first purchase amount of the day ≥ 2 USDT earns 1 point, and each subsequent doubling increases the points by 1 (e.g.: buying 4 USDT earns 2 points, 8 USDT earns 3 points). - Special Points
Comes from specific activity tasks. For example, trading a certain coin for a limited time, participating in official task page operations, etc. Specific tasks will be announced separately.
All points can be viewed and managed through the Gate App (version must be ≥ 7.14.0). Enter the "Alpha Points" module on the "My" page to check the current score, the source of points, and participation records.
