It's all because of the company MicroStrategy, MSTR. Originally, Bitcoin and the US stock market weren't closely related, but later MicroStrategy pioneered the method of issuing convertible bonds to buy Bitcoin, bringing in a bunch of big capital from the US stock market.

A large amount of MicroStrategy convertible bonds have essentially become bonds pegged to Bitcoin, allowing the capital market to indirectly control Bitcoin through these convertible bonds.

The crypto world was always a market for a small group of people, but suddenly hundreds of billions in big players joined in. Naturally, you small players can't compete with the big capitalists. So, the crypto market started to become more like the US stock market.
