People often forget that Dogecoin runs on Proof-of-Work too. Just like Bitcoin, it requires energy to keep the network secure through mining. The whole "energy debate" shouldn't just target one coin when the mechanism is shared across multiple networks.

The energy debate has been shifting blame around, really, the double standards are unbearable. How can Doge and BTC be criticized separately when their mechanisms are the same? This logic is so twisted.

Hey, wait a minute, why is the energy consumption blacklist just targeting DOGE? Bitcoin miners are worse!

The energy dispute, why is it always focused on one coin... The POW mechanism is the same, Bitcoin consumes electricity, DOGE consumes electricity, why is no one speaking up?

Laughing to death, there are really a lot of double standards. Why only criticize shitcoin when it's all POW mechanism?

Come on, this argument doesn't hold up. Can Doge be the same as BTC? The security is far worse.
