This achievement is part of the ongoing tournament aimed at testing Hydra’s scalability. Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson explained that high TPS is driven by processing each game frame as a transaction, proving the ability of Hydra to handle a large number of transactions. Although official data shows the current TPS is 507, with a peak exceeding 807,000, it still far outstrips networks like Solana and Ethereum.
