Metis announced that the Router Nitro mainnet version, a cross-chain asset bridge developed by Router Protocol, has been launched. Users can now use Router to transfer any assets across chains to Metis, experiencing faster, safer, and more cost-effective cross-chain transfers.
Router Nitro uses an optimistic approach to execute transactions, achieving reverse validation through stateful bridging and contract integration on the Router Chain. Its zero TVL is based on intent-based asset transfer and an open network participation mechanism, allowing it to save 50-70% of gas fees compared to competitors, with most transfers completed within 20 seconds.
This integration brings significant advantages to Metis users, including fast transfers of 5-20 seconds, lower user costs, and a seamless experience of on-chain transactions. To accelerate TVL inflow, Router Protocol will also deploy new reward mechanisms together with Metis' existing incentive programs.
