Trump stated that five fighter jets were shot down during the India-Pakistan conflict.

Jin10 reported on July 19 that on July 18 local time, U.S. President Trump stated that "there may have been five aircraft shot down" during the India-Pakistan conflict this spring. He did not specify which side's planes were involved, but claimed that "the planes were indeed shot down, four or five, I believe it was five." Previously, Pakistan claimed to have shot down 5 Indian aircraft, while India stated that it shot down several Pakistani aircraft. Pakistan denied the loss of aircraft but acknowledged that an air force base was attacked.
