Maple Finance has added stETH to the list of collateral assets for stablecoin loans for institutions, allowing them to access liquidity without giving up staking rewards. This helps institutional clients unlock liquidity without needing to withdraw their staked ETH positions, providing flexibility in operations.
Stablecoin loans backed by stETH help meet liquidity demands for trading, generate yields, and facilitate other strategic financial moves, while still maintaining the staking yield of ETH.
Kean Gilbert from the Lido Ecosystem Fund stated that Maple's support for stETH provides valuable liquidity solutions, highlighting the role of liquid staking tokens in modern fund management. This development demonstrates the trend of traditional financial institutions and crypto embracing decentralized solutions to optimize financial efficiency.
