Liquidation Profile Visible Range (LPVR) is an indicator designed to display the liquidation activity of long and short positions at specific price levels in the market. Liquidated long positions are shown on the left, while short positions are displayed on the right.

This indicator helps traders quickly identify price zones where long or short positions are being force-liquidated, which can assist in spotting potential support and resistance levels, as well as signals for possible market reversals.


Web Liquidation Data Explanation

  • The Liquidation Profile indicator data is sourced from the currently visible candlestick range (Visible Range) on your screen. As you scroll or zoom the candlestick chart, LPVR will automatically recalculate and update the data.

  • The visible price range is evenly divided into 22 price segments

  • Each price segment aggregates the liquidated long amount and liquidated short amount within its range (denominated in USDT)

  • Left-side bars represent liquidated longs (Liquidation Long), while right-side bars represent liquidated shorts (Liquidation Short)

  • When you hover your mouse over a bar, you’ll see:

    • The liquidation price range
    • Liquidated short amount (USDT): LS
    • Liquidated long amount (USDT): LL

Feature Overview:

  • When the price falls and a large number of long positions are liquidated, the price often rebounds upward.
  • When the price rises and many short positions are liquidated, the price often retraces downward.

The price level with the highest liquidation volume is particularly noteworthy and may serve as a key support or resistance zone.

Note: If the data source covers a short time frame, the liquidation chart may appear empty, indicating that no liquidations occurred during that period.

  1. Dynamic Updates: Liquidation data is updated in real time as market prices and trading volumes fluctuate. Always refer to the latest liquidation data.
  2. Decision Support: The Liquidation Profile indicator is an auxiliary tool and should be used in conjunction with other technical indicators (such as RSI, MACD) and market information for comprehensive analysis.
