Api3 will promote collaboration to create a new generation of blockchain native, decentralized API or DAPI. The api3 project will allow the smart contract platform to build meaningful applications using APIs in a truly decentralized and least trusted manner. Api3 connects decentralized applications with data and services provided by traditional web APIs, so as to expand the applicability of blockchain without sacrificing the idea of decentralization. This will be achieved through DAPI (a fully decentralized blockchain native API), which will be built, operated and profitable by api3 Dao (a decentralized autonomous organization that allows all stakeholders to directly participate in project governance). All this will be realized through api3 token, which will be granted voting rights in api3 Dao.
