Aergo chain is an open-source hybrid blockchain protocol that combines all aspects of public (trust / decentralization) and private (performance / control) blockchains to cater to enterprise and government use cases. The aergo platform provides enterprises and developers with a set of "infrastructure components" to host aergo chain based blockchain applications.
