In 2019 Epic used to be Ethernity, an NFT marketplace that worked with major brands to sell and distribute NFTs. Ethernity was one of the biggest entities in the NFT market and raised $20 million from: Thomas Vu, Michael Rubin, Black Edge Capital, Ripple, Algorand Technologies, Polygon Studios. Ethernity partnered and worked with major entities such as US Space Force, Toys R Us, Messi, and Shaq. They all exclusively used Ethernity as an advisor to help them create, distribute and monetize their NFT collections. EPIC was created on March 13, 2025. It was launched as a rebranding and contract migration. The transition to EPIC went live at 7 AM UTC on that date, marking the beginning of a new era for the project. Now Epic is using its network and channels to build the first stablecoin private bank. This private bank provides web3 HNWI and protocol treasuries with the stablecoin solutions they need.
