Ethereum maintains bullish momentum ahead of Dencun, the network's upcoming major upgrade.
Ethereum whale bought $166 million worth of ETH in 3 days
While the Dencun upgrade, which will be performed on the Ethereum network, is expected to benefit the layer-2 protocols on the network, this upgrade is promoted as an improvement in data availability that introduces Proto Danksharding to the network. At the end of this process, the Ethereum blockchain is designed to perform faster and cheaper transactions. While experts believe that the upgrade will speed up Ethereum, it is believed that its current obstacles, such as slow transactions and low scalability on the network, will be eliminated. Therefore, it is predicted that the Dencun upgrade will have a positive impact on Ethereum Layer-2 projects.
