China Mobile Games and Entertainment Group releases 2025 performance, with a significant narrowing of losses, and overseas revenue up by 31.6% year-over-year.
On March 29, the Hong Kong-listed company Zlongame (0302.HK) announced its performance report for the fiscal year 2025. The report shows that for the year ending December 31, 2025, total revenue reached 1.39 billion yuan, with the adjusted net loss decreasing from 2.078 billion yuan last year to 1.471 billion yuan, indicating a significant reduction in loss. Non-operating losses accounted for 80.06%, and the announcement mentioned that Zlongame’s operating performance has improved significantly since the second half of the year.
According to the announcement, Zlongame launched 10 new games globally in 2025, generating total publishing revenue of 1.161 billion yuan during the reporting period, with overseas revenue reaching 358 million yuan, an increase of 31.6% year-on-year, accounting for 30.8% of total publishing revenue. Zlongame’s overseas revenue has achieved double-digit growth for two consecutive years, with its share of publishing revenue continuously increasing.
Zlongame plans to launch 19 new games globally in 2026, most of which are popular or classic IP games. The announcement indicated that Zlongame will adopt a development strategy of “low-cost trial and error, large-scale promotion, and rapid iteration,” leveraging its IP resource advantages and utilizing a dual layout of APP and mini-games to vigorously develop global game publishing and independent category R&D, while continuously deepening the IP value of “The Legend of Sword and Fairy,” ultimately driving its operating performance back onto a growth trajectory.
