Interactive Tutorial | Autonomous IP Layer 1 "Camp Network" How to Master On-Chain AI Creation?
Author: momo, ChainCatcher
Recently, the autonomous IP Layer 1 blockchain Camp Network, in collaboration with MERV, StoryChain, and Rob Feldman, launched an on-chain AI creation activity that attracted a large number of users.
According to data from Camp Network’s official Twitter, within just a few days of launching, the activity has attracted over 50,000 users and 125,000 instances of IP secondary creation.
Camp Network can be considered an interactive project that has recently garnered significant attention from community users. In May of this year, Camp Network launched the K2 testnet and simultaneously kicked off the “Summit Series” activity, where users explore ecological dApps through on-chain tasks to earn points. This on-chain AI creation activity is also one of the series activities in the “Summit Series” of the testnet.
This article will briefly outline the overview of Camp Network and the interactive tutorial for the on-chain AI creation activity.
Building an Autonomous IP-Specific Layer 1 Amidst the AI Agent Wave
With the rapid development of AI, the IP management issues faced by creators have become increasingly severe. A large number of models use content for training without authorization, causing creators to lose control, visibility, and revenue over their intellectual property (IP).
In the high-frequency content generation scenarios of AI, traditional IP management methods are no longer suitable, and existing issues such as ownership opacity, rampant piracy, and licensing disputes are more pronounced.
As AI agents gradually replace traditional information processing methods, user-owned IP and vertically fine-tuned AI agents become the core of value. However, the market lacks solutions specifically designed for the integration of IP and AI, failing to meet creators’ rights protection needs in the digital economy.
Camp Network aims to fill this market gap by building a Layer 1 focused on autonomous IP and providing support for AI agents with user identities.
According to Camp Network’s white paper, its core highlights include:
Support for IP tokenization: Anyone can put music, images, videos, personal data, and other IP on-chain to train AI and earn revenue.
No Gas registration and royalties: On-chain IP and distributed royalties incur no Gas fees, making it low cost and highly efficient.
Isolated execution environment: A dedicated environment designed for AI agents and automated licensing, flexible and efficient.
Support for dedicated application chains: Developers can launch independent chains with exclusive blockchain space and computing power, suitable for high-performance needs.
Camp Network states that in the coming months, with the mainnet launch, dozens of new applications will be introduced, covering music, entertainment, social media, and other fields. Currently, its ecosystem partners serve over 5 million users.
Interactive Tutorial for the On-Chain AI Creation Activity
The on-chain AI creation activity from Camp Network includes three sections: social tasks, MERV tasks, and StoryChain tasks. The specific tutorial is as follows:
Social Tasks
Follow Merv, Merv Toon, and Storychain on the X platform; join Storychain’s Discord and Telegram.
MERV Tasks
In addition to logging in with Web3 wallets like Metamask and Rainbow, you can also choose Web2 login methods like X or Google accounts. If you choose the latter, follow the platform prompts, and it will help you generate an on-chain wallet through the Para identity protocol.
Click “faucet” in the upper right corner of the homepage to receive test coins. (Those with existing test coins can skip this step.)
Click “Generate Cyko KO IP” on the homepage to select your favorite character.
Once the character is generated, click “Collect & Mint NFT” to choose to complete the minting.
Share your minted new character on the X platform.
Click “Bring to life on Storychain,” which will redirect you to
Storychain Tasks
Enter
Click “Create New” in the upper right corner.
Choose a character.
You can select “Standard Character” or “MERV Character.” If you choose “Standard Character,” there are two characters to choose from, select one of them.
If using a character generated by MERV, users who log in with the same wallet as the MERV platform will see the character automatically displayed, or you can search for your MERV character by wallet address.
Name the character → Choose gender → Enter comic plot prompts → Click “Create Comic!”
If you are unsure how to write the comic plot, you can use AI tools like ChatGPT or Deepseek to assist with writing.
