Tesla VP explains latest updates in trade secret theft case

Tesla Vice President Bonne Eggleston provided an update on the company’s trade secret theft lawsuit against former supplier Matthews International. A judge issued a permanent injunction blocking Matthews from using certain stolen Tesla parts or designs and found them liable for damages, which will be calculated later. Tesla initiated the suit, demanding over $1 billion, after allegedly finding Matthews copying proprietary battery manufacturing technology and selling it to competitors despite earlier denials.
