He Xiaopeng: IRON humanoid robots will be mass-produced by the end of 2026, with a monthly production capacity of over 1,000 units.
Sina Tech reported on March 20 evening that XPeng Motors today released its financial results for the fourth quarter and full year ended December 31, 2025.
In the fourth quarter of 2025, XPeng Motors’ revenue reached 22.25 billion yuan, up 38.2% year over year; net profit was 380 million yuan, achieving profitability in the quarter.
At a conference call, He Xiaopeng, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of XPeng Motors, said that the company’s new-generation IRON robot will go into mass production by the end of 2026. The XPeng IRON is equipped with three Turing AI chips, and its on-device effective computing power is far higher than that of robots in the industry. “Our VLA2.0 technology stack has already been successfully run on the robot. Combined with XPeng’s new 4th-generation motion control system for robots, we will see extremely strong motion and control performance in the second half of this year. I’m very confident that IRON’s intelligence level will open up a cross-generation lead over the industry.”
He said that XPeng Robotics focuses on three major scenarios: commercial, industrial, and home. IRON will first support commercial scenarios such as deployment services, wayfinding, and shopping guidance in stores and parks in China and overseas. In the first quarter, XPeng began building a humanoid robot mass-production base in Guangzhou. IRON’s target monthly production capacity by the end of this year is in the thousands of units. “With IRON’s high level of intelligence and our advantages in large-scale mass production and supply chain, I believe XPeng will become one of the world’s largest and most valuable humanoid robot companies.”
