Gelonghui, March 26 | The three major U.S. stock indexes all closed higher, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 0.66%, the S&P 500 up 0.54%, and the Nasdaq Composite up 0.77%. Among the 11 sectors of the S&P 500, 9 rose, with materials and consumer discretionary leading the gains, while the energy sector fell. Tech stocks increased, with AMD and Intel rising over 7%, Amazon rising over 2%, Nvidia up 2%, and Netflix and Qualcomm both up over 1%. Storage concept stocks declined, with Micron Technology and SanDisk down over 3%, Seagate Technology down over 2%, and Western Digital down 1.6%.

The Nasdaq China Golden Dragon Index rose 1.86%. Among popular Chinese concept stocks, Baozun e-commerce rose 15.5%, Meituan rose 13.8%, JD.com rose 8.3%, Canadian Solar rose 7.8%, Kingsoft Cloud rose 6.5%, Pinduoduo rose 4.5%, Alibaba rose 3.6%, Baidu rose 2.8%, and New Oriental and Xiaomi both rose over 2%.
