Global New Materials International to achieve revenue of 2.917 billion yuan in 2025, a year-on-year increase of 76.9%
Shanghai Securities News China Securities Network, reported by Sun Xiaocheng: According to the 2025 annual report released by Globe New Material International, the Group recorded total revenue of RMB 2.917 billion during the period, a significant year-on-year increase of 76.9%; after excluding the impact of one-off items such as those arising from acquisitions and adjustments to the fair value of assets, the adjusted net profit was RMB 255 million.
The annual report discloses that on August 1, 2025, the operation of the German business was officially integrated into Globe New Material International, contributing nearly RMB 1.0 billion in revenue in 2025, accounting for 34.0% of Globe New Material International’s total revenue. In addition, Globe New Material International, through M&A integration of the surface solutions business under the Merck Group, has not only achieved growth in business scale, but also made further breakthroughs in global industrial layout and its position in the value chain.
As a multinational enterprise in surface performance materials, Globe New Material International has formed an integrated operating model of “technology-driven + global network + full-chain services,” providing customers in more than 150 countries and regions worldwide with high-end, customized, and green surface performance material solutions, achieving deep coverage of the global market.
In terms of technological advantages, Globe New Material International has built a full-chain technology innovation platform, mastering the core technologies of artificially synthesized mica and pearl material. It participates in drafting multiple industry standards. At the same time, the company further improves the full-chain innovation system of “substrate R&D—surface functional modification—end-formulation adaptation.” Relying on a global R&D network, it deeply integrates global R&D resources and capabilities.
In terms of global layout, the Group has established six manufacturing bases, six R&D centers, and six application centers in Europe, Asia, and the Americas, forming a global production network with coordinated and complementary capabilities of “high-end customization, specialized applications, and large-scale manufacturing,” to meet global customers’ needs from individualized solutions to large-scale supply.
In terms of capacity upgrades, the company’s Luzhou phase-two pearl material plant with an annual capacity of 30,000 tons has commenced operations, entering the critical stage of capacity ramp-up; meanwhile, the main engineering works for the Asia-Pacific headquarters in Tonglu, Hangzhou, and the surface performance materials project with an annual capacity of 100,000 tons have been completed. Production equipment has been gradually installed and commissioned, and is scheduled to ignite and start production in February 2026.
Globe New Material International said that these capacity deployments will further enhance the Group’s capability for independent supply of high-end synthetic mica, effectively expand the Group’s overall product mix supply capabilities, and strengthen its ability to deliver through the vertical industrial chain.
For the重点 work in 2026, Globe New Material International has made clear that the company will further deepen the integration in R&D collaboration, customer collaboration, and global manufacturing layout, promote the sharing of technology platforms and optimization of product portfolios, integrate the technical know-how of M&A targets, high-end customer resources, and the Group’s engineering capabilities and cost advantages, and form tighter and more replicable collaborative effects.
