It is said that a stock-for-stock transaction between the two could be finalized within weeks. Previously, there were reports that Unilever was considering divesting its food business. Unilever owns skincare and haircare brands such as Dove, Vaseline, and Nexxus. Over the past decade, the company has sold other food assets.
