Ministry of Commerce issues guidance on the implementation of beef supply assurance measures for 2026

According to the announcement from the Ministry of Commerce, based on the Ministry of Commerce Announcement No. 87 of 2025, the import of beef from Australia reached 50% of the quantity specified in Annex 2 of that announcement for the current year on March 25, 2026. Starting from the third day after the import beef reaches the quantity specified in Annex 2 of that announcement (including that day), an additional 55% tariff will be imposed on top of the current applicable tariff rate.
