Iran Situation | Trump: War Is Not Over, Still 3554 Targets Remaining
Former U.S. President Trump stated at an event in Miami that the conflict with Iran is not yet over, with 3,554 targets remaining, and he believes it will soon be completed.
Trump remarked that Iran was once a strong nation, but it is no longer the powerful entity it used to be; Iran has been completely destroyed and no longer poses a threat.
He mentioned that Iran is very eager, even “begging,” for an agreement, and negotiations are ongoing; Iran has proposed allowing eight oil tankers to pass through the Trump Strait to make up for their earlier erroneous claim of denying negotiations. During his speech, Trump referred to the Strait of Hormuz as the “Trump Strait,” and indicated that if Iran wants to achieve results, it must open the strait.
Senior Iranian officials stated that they cannot tolerate the U.S. approach of negotiating while fighting and have not yet decided whether to respond to the proposed ceasefire plan.
Pakistan reportedly to hold the Quad foreign ministers’ meeting on Middle East situation
Additionally, Pakistan’s official television reported that Pakistan will hold a Quad foreign ministers’ meeting next Monday in Islamabad with Turkey, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia to discuss ways to ease tensions in the Middle East and promote regional stability.
Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz stated that Pakistan is making diplomatic efforts to help end the Middle East conflict and prevent devastating consequences for regional countries; the goal is to pave a path toward lasting peace through collective wisdom and consultation.
