Sina Technology News, March 27 afternoon: At the 2026 Zhongguancun Forum Annual Meeting “OpenClaw and AI Open Source Roundtable,” Yang Zhilin, founder of the Dark Side of the Moon, served as the host and engaged in dialogue with Zhang Peng, CEO of Zhipu Huazhang, and Luo Fuli, head of Xiaomi MiMo large model.

In the conversation, when discussing his views on OpenClaw, Zhang Peng candidly stated: “The biggest breakthrough this brings to everyone, or the greatest ‘freshness’, is that it is no longer just an exclusive tool for programmers or geeks; ordinary people can also conveniently use the capabilities of top models, especially in programming and related intelligent agent capabilities.”

Zhang Peng expressed that, up to now, he prefers to refer to OpenClaw as a kind of “scaffolding” when communicating with everyone. It provides a possibility: on top of the model’s capabilities, it builds a scaffolding that is sufficiently solid, convenient, and flexible. People can invoke various new capabilities provided by the underlying model according to their own wishes. Many ideas that were previously constrained by “not knowing how to code” or “lacking other professional skills” can now be realized through simple communication.

“For me, the impact of this is very significant and has made me rethink the meaning of such products,” Zhang Peng stated. (Wen Meng)
