Tesla Optimus officially released a new video on social media platform X, showcasing the Optimus development environment and detailing components such as the reduction gearbox and dexterous hands. Tesla Optimus stated that this will fundamentally change the economic landscape of labor and manufacturing like never before. Recently, Musk mentioned at the “Abundance Summit” tech conference that Optimus 3 is expected to start production this summer, with large-scale production anticipated by 2027. He referred to this robot as the world’s most advanced humanoid robot.

The head of the dexterous hand design team for Optimus stated in the video, “We have repeatedly designed and prepared to put Optimus 3 into mass production, and the product is gradually approaching human functionality, even its appearance will not look like a robot.”
