Last footage revealed before Hamaney's assassination

Press TV released the last footage of Iran’s former supreme leader Khamenei before he was assassinated on March 27.

The report states that this is footage from just minutes before Khamenei’s martyrdom, and it is the last photo captured by the surveillance camera in his office.

The Hindustan Times also cited the report of this photo. However, hours later, Press TV deleted the post.

On February 28, the United States and Israel suddenly attacked Iran, launching a large-scale airstrike against the country. Iran confirmed on March 1 that the US-Israeli attack on Khamenei occurred earlier on February 28, stating that Khamenei “died as a martyr at his post in the leader’s office,” and that four relatives, including his daughter and son-in-law, were killed.

On March 8, Iran elected Mojtaba as the new supreme leader, with the announcement made on March 9. On March 12, Mojtaba issued his first statement after taking office through national television. He stated that Iran would continue to hold the enemy accountable and seek “revenge” for the victims.
