Canada plans to ban cryptocurrency political donations entirely

Deep Tides TechFlow message, March 29, according to CoinDesk, the Canadian government on March 26 introduced the “Elections Act” (Bill C-25), which would ban political donations to political parties and candidates in the form of cryptocurrencies, money orders, and prepaid cards. The bill is currently in its first reading stage in the House of Commons. Earlier, the UK had also announced a pause in accepting cryptocurrency political donations.
