At the construction site of the Meichi Zhuolan Industrial Park in the Chongqing High-tech Zone, dozens of excavators and pile drivers are roaring at work. “We secured this land through a 30-year flexible transfer method,” said the head of Chongqing Meichi Technology Co., Ltd. “Under the previous policy, the lease term for industrial land was 50 years, which significantly increased construction costs.” The Chongqing High-tech Zone has innovatively adopted a “joint land acquisition + flexible transfer” model, adjusting the lease term for industrial land to a flexible range of 20 to 50 years, and also utilizing digital applications for intelligent site selection for enterprises. Chongqing Meichi Technology Co., Ltd. successfully secured the land and partnered with a company from Dongguan, Guangdong.
