Everyday AI News reported that an investor asked on the investor interaction platform: “I have always been confused about the 100,000-ton capacity of the company’s Panjin production line. Please explain, does 100,000 tons theoretically refer to 100,000 tons of raw materials? Does it mean 100,000 tons of various finished products and by-products combined? Or does it mean a maximum of 100,000 tons of SAF? What is the specific meaning?”

Penglai Environmental Protection (300664.SZ) stated on the investor interaction platform on March 26 that the 100,000 tons/year biomass liquid fuel technical transformation project at Panjin Penglai is the company’s first biodiesel project, with a designed capacity of 100,000 tons/year (referring to the maximum processing capacity of raw materials). In 2024, Panjin Penglai completed the technological transformation for SAF and successfully produced biojet fuel (referred to as SAF) in September 2024, with an overall product yield of approximately 82%. All 46 indicators tested by a third-party authoritative organization met international standards. Starting in 2025, the company will carry out further technical upgrades to this project, aiming to optimize the process flow and further improve the production performance of the facility. The relevant technical transformation engineering has been completed and is steadily advancing trial production work.
