Solana Breaks Record: 27.1 Million Active Addresses in a Week
New data from the blockchain analysis platform Nansen reveals increased activity on the Solana network over the past period, with active addresses reaching unprecedented record levels. This exciting growth reflects the growing interest in Solana tokens and decentralized applications.
Dramatic Rise in Active Addresses
The Solana network recorded 27.1 million active addresses last week, a significant jump of 56% compared to the previous week, according to the BlockBeats report based on Nansen data. Additionally, the number of transactions on the network exceeded 515 million, confirming the current boom in the ecosystem.
This remarkable increase in addresses indicates growing appeal among both new and existing users, whether for trading or participating in decentralized applications and smart contracts.
Intense Competition Among Networks
Solana took the top spot in active addresses and transaction volume, but it was not alone in this race. It was followed by BNB Chain and Tron, which also posted strong results, reflecting fierce competition among leading blockchain chains to attract users and activity.
These figures demonstrate that the blockchain market is experiencing a period of real dynamism, with increased interest in the applications and services offered on these networks.
