China News Service, March 22 — During the China Development Forum 2026 Annual Meeting on March 22, Standard Chartered Group CEO Bill Winters stated in an interview that international investors are highly interested in China. China’s ongoing opening-up policies make it easier for investors to access the market and establish stable expectations that “rules will not change midway.”

He pointed out that the current global situation is full of uncertainties, and China has become a stable platform that will attract more international investment opportunities. “China is a super-large market,” Winters said. “The size of China’s bond market is enormous, and Chinese government bonds are increasingly seen as safe assets. The future prospects are very promising.” (End)
