Chengdi Xiangjiang Subsidiary Consortium Wins the Bid for China Mobile Yangtze River Delta Data Center Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Engineering EPCO Project
Guanfawang News: On March 23, Shanghai Chengdi Xiangjiang Data Technology Co., Ltd. announced that its subsidiary Xiangjiang System Engineering Co., Ltd. and other partners won the EPCO project for the China Mobile Yangtze River Delta (Yangzhou) Data Center Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.
The project client is China Mobile Communications Group Jiangsu Co., Ltd. Yangzhou Branch. The scope of work includes the full EPCO contract for design, procurement, installation, and commissioning, as well as all civil renovation and data center interior work.
The construction contract has a maximum limit of 910 million yuan before tax and 1.013 billion yuan including tax. The schedule involves two batches of data center buildings, with a total IT capacity of 30MW. The first batch is scheduled for initial acceptance by April 30, 2026. The operation and maintenance contract has a maximum limit of 195 million yuan before tax and 206 million yuan including tax, with a service period from contract signing until all data center buildings pass final acceptance, lasting 10 years.
The joint venture has clear responsibilities: Xiangjiang System is responsible for infrastructure construction, accounting for 52.6% of the workload; ZTE Corporation accounts for 30%; China Post Design Institute accounts for 0.4%; Shanghai Qisi accounts for 17%. Profits will be settled proportionally.
The announcement states that this contract is a routine business matter. Its impact on the company’s finances will be based on actual audit results. It does not affect business independence but carries risks of unanticipated or force majeure events preventing full performance.
