According to CME “FedWatch”: the probability of the Federal Reserve cutting interest rates by 25 basis points by March is 2.6%, and the probability of keeping rates unchanged is 97.4%. The probability of the Fed cutting a total of 25 basis points by April is 14.4%, with an 85.3% chance of holding rates steady, and a 0.3% chance of a total cut of 50 basis points. By June, the probability of a total cut of 25 basis points is 37.1%.
