AlphaTON Capital Acquires 60% Controlling Stake in GAMEE for Up to $11 Million in Deal Value
Odaily Planet Daily reports that NASDAQ-listed TON Treasury Company AlphaTON Capital has announced the final agreement to acquire a 60% stake in gaming platform GAMEE for up to $11 million, including an additional performance-based payment over two years.
GAMEE is a wholly owned subsidiary of Animoca Brands. The valuation of the deal is $18 million. According to the acquisition agreement, AlphaTON Capital will take over GAMEE’s daily operations and management, establish a strategic alliance with Animoca Brands, and is prohibited from acquiring AlphaTON Capital’s controlling stake within two years.
