【#China responds to Vietnam possibly reducing flights to address fuel issues#】On March 16, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian held a routine press conference.

A Reuters reporter asked whether Vietnam is preparing to cut some flights in response to the aviation fuel supply problems caused by the Iran situation. Foreign Minister Wang Yi is currently in Vietnam meeting with the Vietnamese Foreign Minister. Did China and Vietnam discuss the issue of China banning the export of aviation fuel? Did they discuss energy security issues?

Lin Jian stated that the Middle East situation impacts global energy security. Relevant countries should immediately cease military actions to prevent regional turmoil from causing greater impacts on global economic development. China is willing to strengthen coordination and cooperation with all countries, including Vietnam, to jointly address energy security issues.
