Private equity firms’ research trends often serve as a “weather vane” for market structural opportunities. According to data from Eastmoney Choice, as of March 20, over the past three months, many companies have attracted intensive research from private equity institutions. In terms of the number of research visits, Jingzhida ranked first with 61 visits, followed by Dajin Heavy Industry and Xiangyu Medical with 57 and 50 visits respectively. Companies like Huqian Technology and Haitan Ruisheng also made the top five, highlighting private equity firms’ strong interest in high-end manufacturing, semiconductors, AI computing power, and medical innovation.
By industry, the electronics sector has become the “main force” of institutional research. Companies such as Huqian Technology, Shunluo Electronics, and Fenghua High-Tech are among the top 20, covering segments like semiconductors, consumer electronics, and passive components, reflecting long-term optimism from institutions for domestic substitution and AI hardware supply chains.
The pharmaceutical and biotech sectors remain hot, with four companies including Xiangyu Medical and Aipeng Medical making the list, indicating focused attention on rehabilitation medicine and innovative drugs.
Power equipment and machinery also performed well, with companies like Dajin Heavy Industry, Jinko Solar, and Nape Mining appearing on the list, confirming ongoing enthusiasm for new energy and high-end equipment sectors.
