China Unicom 2025 revenue of 392.22 billion yuan, net profit of 20.82 billion yuan

IT Home, March 19 — China Unicom today released its 2025 annual performance report:

  • Full-year revenue reached 392.22 billion RMB, a 0.7% increase year-over-year;
  • Service revenue totaled 347.74 billion RMB, up 0.5% year-over-year;
  • Net profit attributable to the company’s equity holders was 20.82 billion RMB, a 1.0% increase year-over-year.

The board recommends a final dividend of 0.1329 RMB per share (tax included), combined with the interim dividend of 0.2841 RMB per share (tax included), bringing the total annual dividend to 0.417 RMB per share (tax included), a 3.1% increase year-over-year, with the payout ratio rising to 61.3%.

China Unicom has deployed over 330 5G-A base stations across cities; advancing gigabit expansion and 10-gigabit upgrades. Nearly 90% of broadband services support gigabit access, and 10-gigabit optical networks are being piloted commercially in over 100 cities. The company is also investing in frontier fields like 6G and quantum communication, launching quantum secure dedicated lines.

China Unicom’s total user base exceeds 1.2 billion, an increase of 110 million compared to 2024. The company continues to develop broadband and mobile network integration, with net user growth surpassing 20 million. The penetration rate of integrated services exceeds 78%, and the ARPU (average revenue per user) for integrated packages remains above 100 RMB.
