The European Union and Iceland Sign a Security and Defense Partnership Agreement

People’s Financial News, March 18 — On March 18 local time, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell and Icelandic Foreign Minister Guðlaugur Þór Þórðarson signed a Security and Defense Partnership Agreement in Brussels. It is reported that the EU and Iceland will strengthen cooperation in Arctic stability, maritime surveillance, civil defense, and cybersecurity. (CCTV News)
