Apple removes the iWork introduction page from its official website, and the Apple iWork brand may be fading out.
Apple’s US official website took down the iWork introduction page yesterday. Currently, visiting www.apple.com/iwork redirects to a more general “Apple Apps” page, showcasing groups of Apple applications like Creator Studio and Apple Arcade. For reference, the original iWork page mainly displayed the three office software applications: Pages, Numbers, and Keynote. Now, the “Apple Apps” page also provides similar information under the “Productivity” section and includes promotional content for Creator Studio. Notably, Apple makes no mention of the “iWork” brand on the new webpage, suggesting that the company may no longer officially use this term to collectively refer to Pages, Numbers, and Keynote. According to MacRumors today, it’s still unclear whether Apple will completely retire the “iWork” brand, as the term still appears in some support documents and guides. In the future, Apple might only use this name in limited scenarios, but it’s unlikely that a brand name used for over 20 years will vanish overnight. (Sina Finance)
