Master Exchange 1e and Other Numerical Units, Understand Digital Abbreviations in One Read
In cryptocurrency exchanges, we often see various abbreviations for numbers. Symbols like 1e, 1K, 1M can be confusing for newcomers. Actually, these are just shorthand for large numbers, used to simplify the representation of big figures. Once you understand the conversion rules, you can easily interpret the different data labels on exchanges.
Common Numerical Units on Exchanges
The main units used on exchanges correspond to the following:
1K = 1,000
1M = 1,000,000
1e = 100,000,000
1B = 1,000,000,000
1T = 1,000,000,000,000
These units are typically used to indicate trading volume, market cap, or price ranges. For example, if we say a coin’s market cap is “1.5B,” it means the total market value is 1.5 billion dollars.
Conversion Between 1K and 1T
If you want to understand the size relationship between these units, you’ll see they are all scaled by a thousand. Starting from 1K, each subsequent unit is 1,000 times larger than the previous one. Once you grasp that 1e represents 100 million, it becomes easier to understand the other units.
In actual trading, 1e often appears in market depth charts or large transaction records. By mastering the conversion logic between 1e and 1K, 1M, 1B, 1T, you’ll be able to quickly read and understand various data labels on exchanges without confusion.
